Cinderella

was a poor young girl.

灰姑娘是一个可怜的小女孩，

Her mother was dead.

她的母亲死了。

Her stepmother was bad to her.

她的继母对她很不好。

She made her do all the hard work.

她让她做所有的累活。

One day the prince

had a party to find a wife.

有一天，王子举行一个派对，想找一个妻子。

Cinderella's stepmother

took her daughters to the party,

灰姑娘的继母带着她的女儿去了聚会，

but Cinderella had to stay at home.

但灰姑娘得待在家。

She was very sad.

她很伤心。

Just then,a fairy came up.

就在这那时，一个仙女出现了。

She turned Cinderella's clothes

into a beautiful dress,

她把灰姑娘的衣服变成漂亮的裙子，

and turned a pumpkin into a coach.

把一个南瓜变成了一个马车。

Go to the party now,

现在去聚会吧，

but you must come back

before 12 o'clock.

但你必须在12点之前回来。

At the party,

the prince danced

with Cinderella all evening.

Soon the clock began to strike 12.

Cinderella ran out quickly.

On the way

she lost one of her glass shoes.

在路上她丢了一只水晶鞋。

The prince

told his men to find the girl.

王子告诉他的仆人去找灰姑娘。

They asked all the girls

to try the shoe on,

他们让所有的女孩都试着穿着那只鞋子，

but only Cinderella could put it on.

但是只有灰姑娘可以穿上。

Cinderella

became the prince's wife

灰姑娘变成了王子的妻子，

and they lived happily ever after.
